About the gameplay

Nothing is being built to the residential plots?

This problem might be caused by few things:

• There is no road connection to the plot. Road must be max 2 zones away from the plot
• People are not content. Build more recreational services in order to get new residential buildings under construction
• Despite my efforts to fix the bug, on some computers the game comes to a standstill when using the fast game speed. Try using normal or slow game speed
• You can also try the version 1.5.1 available on the Downloads-page

Trees and buildings are blocking the view, why can't I rotate the view?

This is one of the most desired options for the game, but with my resources I just can't do it.. =/ It would require so much additional work with the graphics (buildings from all different angles etc.) that I just don't have time for it. However, in the latest version there is a 'simple view' option, that enables game play with no blocking objects on the game area.

How can I open a saved city?

You can open a saved city from the main window of City of Rauma -game. Open the game and click on the 'Load' button. At the moment you can't open the saved city file directly eg. from the desktop.

When does a game end?

The game never ends, if the player wishes so =) You can have new special buildings up to certain point, but even beyond that you can keep on building the city and modify it as long as you like.

Is this game making any progress?

Yes, it's making slow progress, but it's not so easy to do all by yourself =) - Juho
